parley noun a conference between opposing sides in a dispute, especially a discussion of terms for an armistice.
In this recurring segment, I will parley with my skin, provide up-close pictures to track my progress (or lack thereof) and give an update on various topics.
Current state of skin … TERRIBLE!
Issues: turkey gobbler neck, sagging marionettes and jowls, texture, uneven tone including melasma, giant eye-bags, falling fat pads in corner above eyes, sagging eyelids, crows feet, eye socket scar, receding hairline.
Treatments since last Parley: Nothing! I took a treatment break in May. Partly cause life can be crazy busy, partly cause I was doing a lot of blog building & writing, but mostly cause I introduced like 7 new topical products at the same time and my skin decided to commit mutiny.
Now I must wait for calmer skin; introduce each new product separately so I can find and make the mutinous turncoat walk the plank.
Weight loss: 4.2 lbs in May! For a total of 78 lbs gone since Jan ‘22.
